Face Data and Facial Geometry Information

My IPD uses facial tracking and facial analysis technologies, including Apple ARKit, to support optical measurement features.

When supported features are used, My IPD may process facial information such as:

• Facial landmark positions

• Eye and facial feature positions
• Measurement-related facial images
• Marker positions associated with the face

How Face Data Is Used

Face data is used solely to provide My IPD measurement and fitting functionality, including calculating or assisting with optical measurements such as:

• Interpupillary Distance (IPD)

• Face-side measurements
• Working-distance measurements
• Fitting angles and related optical fitting information

Face data is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, marketing, or cross-app tracking.

Face data is not used by My IPD for facial recognition, identity verification.

User authentication within My IPD is handled through the application's account and verification process rather than by identifying a user from their face.

Processing and Storage of Face Data

Certain facial analysis may occur on the user's device as part of the camera and measurement process.

Where required to provide My IPD services, measurement-related information, images, facial geometry data, or related measurement records may be transmitted to and stored on our backend systems.

Stored face and measurement data may be associated with the applicable user account, profile, customer record, or measurement record so that authorized users can access and manage measurement results.

Sharing of Face Data

We do not sell face data.

We do not provide face data to advertisers, advertising networks, data brokers, or other third parties for their own marketing, advertising, tracking, profiling, or unrelated commercial purposes.

Service providers that assist us with hosting, infrastructure, security, storage, or technical operation of My IPD may process information only as necessary to provide those services on our behalf and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

When My IPD communicates with our systems, limited technical information may be processed as necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and maintain the service.

Information contained in system backups may remain for a limited period until those backups are overwritten or securely deleted according to our normal backup procedures.

Account and Data Deletion

My IPD provides users with an option to initiate deletion of their account from within the application.

Users can access the Profile area of My IPD and select Delete Account.

When an account-deletion request is successfully completed, the account will be deleted along with personal information and associated data that we are not legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.

• Profiles and folders
• Measurement records
• Measurement images
• Stored facial geometry or face-mesh data
• Associated measurement results
