At LumaDent, your satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to feel confident in your purchase, which is why we offer a 45-day trial period to ensure your equipment fits your professional needs perfectly.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can return or exchange your items within 45 days of receiving them, subject to the conditions below.

1. Returns & Refunds

We permit returns for a refund within your 45-day trial period. Items must be postmarked before the end of the 45-day window to be eligible for a refund.

Return Conditions & Guidelines:

  • Original Packaging: All products must be returned in their original packaging to protect the sensitive optical and electronic equipment during transit.
  • Condition: Items must not be damaged, misused, or modified. Products showing signs of improper care or unauthorized modifications will not qualify for a return.
  • Shipping Fees: Initial shipping and handling fees are strictly non-refundable.
  • Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for covering all shipping costs associated with returning the product to LumaDent.

Non-Refundable Items & Services:

The following items and services are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) / Safety Glasses
  • Premium Eyewear
  • Headgear
  • Custom Prescription Services for Loupes
  • Final Sale / Clearance Items

*TTL Ergo Loupes Customization Fee

A $150 customization fee will be deducted from your refund for all through-the-lens (TTL) style ErgoPrism, Ergo Air, and Ergo Max loupes.

  • Why we charge this: This fee helps cover the precise labor and material costs associated with custom-crafting each pair to your specific ergonomic measurements and preferences. This ensures we can continue to maintain the highest quality and craftsmanship that our customers expect.

2. Hassle-Free Exchanges

Within your 45-day trial period, LumaDent offers a hassle-free exchange policy. You can exchange your item for a product of equal value at no additional cost.

What Can Be Exchanged?

You can initiate an exchange for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Loupe Adjustments: Changing the type of loupes (e.g., TTL vs. Flip-Up, or Galilean vs. Prism).
  • Specifications: Changing the magnification, frame style, or frame color.
  • Lighting Adjustments: Changing the battery color, LED Package, or LED color temperature.
  • Order Errors: Rectifying an incorrect product received (e.g., receiving the wrong mount).

Exchange Conditions & Guidelines:

  • Price Differences: Any price difference between the original and the exchanged product must be settled before we ship your new item. If the new item is less expensive, we will refund the difference to your original payment method.
  • Trial Period Restart: To ensure you have adequate time to evaluate your new equipment, your 45-day trial period will completely restart on the day you receive your newly exchanged product.
  • Product Condition: Just like returns, items that have been damaged, misused, or modified do not qualify for an exchange. (Please refer to the Not Covered in the Lifetime Loupes Warranty guidelines for details on improper product care).
