Award-winning Dental Headlights for Dentists & Surgeons
To ensure that critical details are not overlooked by the naked eye, it is extremely critical to have adequate illumination during procedures and examinations. A magnifying glass and loupes may enhance your field of vision, but proper lighting will eliminate shadows that could obstruct it.
LumaDent offers Dental LED Headlight Packages for dentists and surgeons that can be used with most loupes, glasses, and face shields on the market today. Our headlights come in different colors and weights. You can choose wired and 100% wireless headlights with fairly priced options based on your requirements.

Honest LUX. Pure Brightness.

Light Up Your Precision.
An Explanation of Brightness.
Ryan Walsh explains the importance of brightness in loupes and headlights for dental and medical professionals. Brightness, often a subjective term, refers to the quantity of light reaching your eye and can be better understood through terms like lumens, intensity, and Lux. Lumens measure the raw output of light, while intensity (or flux) refers to the concentration of that light. Lux measures the amount of light landing on a specific area, crucial for understanding headlamp brightness at various working distances. Demonstrations showed how two headlamps with the same lumens could differ in flux due to light concentration and how Lux values change with distance, emphasizing the importance of knowing the brightness at your actual working distance.
