Why is the Flip up version of the ProLUX Control Cable one inch longer than the TTL version?

The Flip up version is one inch longer because the headlight mount—where the cable plugs in—is positioned on the Flip up bar, which extends out in front of the loupe frame. In contrast, the TTL version has the mount placed directly on or near the top of the frame. Since the Flip up mount sits farther forward, the cable needs the extra inch to reach it comfortably without pulling or tension.
